As I try to watch this through someone else's eyes, I imagine that it might seem rather pitiful. But in our eyes it is a beautiful moment of bonding with this little pumpkin that we barely know, yet love more and more each day. We consider it a fabulous gift every time we get to peer into the soul of this fragile little creature we call our son! A gift that only lasts for a few moments... but warms our hearts more than we can describe.

WOW, and I am trying to see this through your eyes, which is impossible. The photo with the pumpkin makes it unreal believe it or not, I just can't fathom his size. Like some how it just can't be. It makes it even more amazing he is here and real and doing well in these circumstances. I love him!
Breaks my heart to see that tiny little baby hooked up to things, yet what an awesome God we have that this tiny little baby has come so far and can open his eyes to look at his momma. ((hugs))
He is absolutely beautiful Melissa! It is amazing and awesome to see Kyren open his eyes, blink and to see his expresions. Not at all pitiful...Not at all. Seeing him on video melted my heart and just about made me tear up...What a wonderful God we serve! What a perfect creation Kyren is! What a reminder of who we are, of who He is and of who we are in Him...What a reminder of His amazing love. It is beautiful...And if anyone thinks it is pitiful I will be glad to have a word or two with them. :) Thank you for this video and for once again shring a special moment with us. I continue to pray.
