For Kyren's one month birthday, he got to snuggle with Daddy for the first time! What a treat for all of us-- not sure who enjoyed it most! I got to capture on film some really great perspective of how tiny our big one-monther is!

I didn't think he could look tinier, but next to Dave, he really does. Sweet little baby. It's funny - he looks older at the same time, though. Much more like a baby and less like, well, a fetus I guess (not that a fetus isn't a baby), as he builds up fat under his skin and opens his eyes.
He is truly a little miracle. I just showed Jack the photos of him for the first time (he's my older one - almost 3 - and he's been praying with us for Kyren each day). I wasn't sure how he would handle the images with the tubes, but I explained what they were and how they were helping him. He just said "Oh wow - and some day he won't need those any more and we can go visit him!" So there you go...his lips to God's ears! :)
How sweet! I'm so glad David got to hold Kyren finally. He's so tiny but he looks so much better and more alert than just a month ago. Thank you God for this miracle!
