taking it easy

not that there was a lot of time for anyone to worry between 10pm last night and 8am this morning, but i finally talked to the doctor who said it was reasonable to let me stay home and monitor my own contractions, which had begun to slow down by then. i was so glad to not have to pack up and drive in. i think i would've just gone by myself, so dave could get some rest and not have to wake anyone else. but i slept REALLY well, and never felt a contraction the whole night. i didn't even get up to go to the bathroom, which was surprising since dave was making me drink tons of water to try to get the contractions to slow. i think it worked...and maybe i was a little dehydrated again, cuz apparently i wasn't shedding it all.

so far this morning, i haven't felt a single contraction, tho there is still some spotting. planning to take it easy today. it's kinda gloomy out, so that shouldn't be too hard. just gotta get the dirty dishes under control... and hopefully make some chicken soup and muffins... and take my car in to get the airbag recall fixed. that's taking it easy, right?
