kyren turns 100

today was the 100th day of NICU life for us... and for our precious little miracle boy. and now that the end is in sight-- it really hasn't seemed that long. it's just become 'what we do'. of course i have my mom five minutes away from the hospital, a 19 month old who adores her, and an opportunity almost everyday to take a nap if i need one. add to that the fact that kyren has done SO well, and come so far, with such minimal complications-- really, it's been a relatively easy journey compared to what many people go through. we are blessed beyond belief to have such fabulous hospital care, insurance, working cars, a warm home, plenty of baby clothes, amazing family and friends, and a church community who are lining up to bring us meals for as long as we need them, starting the day he is discharged! REALLY, what more could we ask for???
