Away in a ... garage

christian is really into garages right now. or as he calls them-- "jew-ahj 's". when i got the cresh out this morning and put it under the Christmas tree, and told him the names of everyone at the scene and watched his little face, taking it all in, i couldn't stand how cute he looked. so serious...thinking about every new word he was hearing.
he liked the animals, and the fact that he could make them eat the 'hay'. he REALLY liked the little ladder that goes up to the loft. he put his foot on it and said, "sis-chin, kwime!" (christian climb). he gets very disappointed when he can't climb tiny little ladders. it's hilarious. he eventually settled for making the donkey climb the ladder, and as he shoved the cow into the loft, he said (as he says with every truck he plays with these days) "jew-ahhhhj". i kind of knew that was coming. i mean, the whole structure does kind of resemble a garage. i'm just waiting for his trucks, loaders, backhoes, et al to end up parked in there. i know, total sacrilege -- but you gotta admit... it's kind of funny that Jesus would be born in a jew-ahj.
