Today Christian had his first playground experience. It was 65 degrees and sunny and breezy (a little taste of Spring, Thank you Lord!) -- so we met Grampy in the park for a stroll and a little playtime! of course it was a bit, shall we say, overwhelming for someone who's never experienced (to his recollection) a sunny day at the park. he wasn't sure what to think of all of the breezes, playground equipment, other children, and dogs running and making noise. he took everything in in his usual serious style... gracing us with a coaxed smile now and then. . . and of course, his signature wave. it was so fun to watch him explore -- the woodchips under his feet were especially interesting to his little senses. he kept bending over to try to touch them... and after a while his shoes got wet, and he didn't like that at all!
