We are starting to get things in order, finally, for the arrival of our son. We have about 7 1/2 weeks, give or take-- till he arrives! We spent last night and this morning clearing out the nursery (which has been a library, recording studio, and storage facility since July). Apparently it's going to remain a recording studio for a few more weeks, as dave's goal is to complete this album he's working on-- B.B. -- Before Bruno.
The birds are singing and the windows are open-- even though it's only about 49 degrees :) ... it's supposed to reach 60, so I'm hopeful that the air will soon not feel as arctic as it blows through the house...
Our first little sign of spring is blooming out front -- a little bundle of lavender Crocuses, nestled among the dead leaves from fall. It always amazes me how they suddenly appear. Dave is outside hedge trimming and raking-- and it's so refreshing to feel the winter subsiding. The promise of new life around the corner-- and yet still so much to do to prepare for it all!
Speaking of which, I believe it's time for lunch.... lovin the eating for two!
