6 month milestone

Kyren's been going to PT now for a couple of months (i think). it's hard to keep track of these weeks... they all keep running together. he's been rolling from front to back for a while now, but just didn't seem too interested in the reverse move. but tonight i saw him do it and exclaimed. dave said he'd seen him do it a few times today. um, apparently he didn't think it was quite as big an accomplishment as i do!! i was beginning to think he would never get it! maybe now he can begin sleeping through the night again, as a big part of his awake time at night is because he rolls over onto his back and then just lies there and stares at the darkness until he gets hungry and fusses for me to come get him. if only it were that easy, for it to change overnight. but a mom can dream right? especially a deliriously tired one. . .

it just so happens that 6 months ago today (or was it yesterday?) we brought him home from his 107 days in the NICU. i kind of think of that day as if it could have been his birth day, as he was finally the health and weight of a full term newborn. so i would like to make this milestone a bigger deal and say he rolled over on his 6 month developmental bday! good job, buddy! let the good times roll :)
