Finally-- i can blog with abandon! It's been a busy and exciting week for us! Starting with the friday before Father's Day, when we anxiously awaited the unvailing of our 2 big family secrets-- Christian and Willa's new roles as Big Brother and Big Sister! We've known for 6 weeks and decided, along with Seth and Kel, to keep it under wraps until the kiddos could 'announce' it together, in person, to the fam!
Both unplanned, and both due in January (a week apart!!), we are still in shock (and awe) of God's timing and apparent plan for our growing families! I had been dreaming every night about the 'announcement', with much anxiety that Mom knew and was just playing along. But in reality, no one had a clue what was coming, as you can tell by the video!! It went off without a hitch, and although it took a few seconds for the "message" of their shirts to sink in, it was a priceless and 'totally worth waiting for' moment in time!
We spent the rest of the week in sweet relief, able to openly eat and sleep to our hearts' content! And had a lot of fun watching the toddlers do their thing-- so busy and so delightful-- mostly playing side-by-side, but sometimes interacting in the most adorable way. Willa is still a bundle of joyful energy, and Christian is still a studious observer-- but both never stop moving and exploring the giant world around them. I will have to put the pics in a slideshow once i get them all organized. with the new camera, all of the pics are being uploaded to dave's computer, which means i have to go pick out the best ones (a difficult job!), and then transfer them to my computer, and then upload them to Picasa. ... Ahh, technology!
